Send Postcards to Space with Club for the Future and Artist Denise De la Rue

Artist Denise De la Rue in partnership with Blue Origin’s non-profit, Club for the Future are thrilled to announce the launch of the “Send Postcards to Space” initiative in Mexico. This groundbreaking project invites students and space enthusiasts in Mexico to draw or write their vision of the future on a postcard and Blue Origin will fly it to space and back on a future New Shepard mission. Club for the Future will then stamp them “flown to space” and return them to their creators. Participants will be able to draw postcards until April 2025.

The paper postcards were designed by the artist taking as a starting point the Mayan Calendar from the year 3114 BC that she manipulated through AI to create the designs.

This unique collaboration between Club for the Future and Denise De la Rue merges the limitless possibilities of space exploration with the transformative power of art and science offering children, teenagers and space enthusiasts across Mexico the opportunity to communicate their hopes, dreams, and creativity through postcards that will venture beyond our planet’s atmosphere and return aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket.
